Victoria, London
Located beneath London's largest Living Wall, recently replanted with more than 6,000 herbaceous plants to breathe life into our surroundings, bbar is a vibrant cocktail bar and restaurant in the heart of Victoria.
Our new menu plays homage to our heritage, with dishes that beautifully reflect the flavours of South Africa with a playful twist, from Boerewors Eggs Benedict with chilli chutney biltong to The Gatsby Sub, a Western Cape pulled BBQ short rib of beef.
Alongside this exceptional new menu, we have live mix sessions and DJ sets throughout the week, as well as contemporary signature cocktails created by our resident mixologists.
There are miles of stunning walks in Guernsey But one of the prettiest has to be a walk through Bluebell Woods in March and April. Located at the southern end of St Peter Port, within walking distance of the town centre, you will find Bluebell Woods. Aptly named, in springtime the woodland floor becomes a carpet of blue flowers beneath the budding tree canopy. A wonderful place to walk at any time of year with trails leading onto the cliff paths and wonderful views from the south-east of the island. Don’t forget your camera!
La Carrière Equestrian Centre is the ideal place to be if you are a keen rider. Lessons are available for all levels and ages, and special arrangements can be made for hacks out towards L’Ancresse and Ladies Bay.
There are a number of great beaches for surfing in Guernsey but Vazon offers perhaps the best options for both experienced and novices. Guernsey Surf School is also located here offering lessons for those wishing to learn or improve their skills.
