Open Water Swimming

Get ready to make a splash and create lifelong memories in Guernsey’s crystal-clear water with Guernsey Swim Adventures. Their expert guides will lead you on exhilarating open water swim adventures, whether you're a seasoned swimmer or a beginner seeking an extraordinary challenge. Immerse yourself in the island's rich history and natural wonders, as you navigate secret coves, secluded bays and pristine beaches that are Guernsey’s best kept secret.


Please note this experience will be available only on Wednesdays and Thursdays from June until September, and from sunrise until 4pm.

Itinerary

Time: Your Guernsey Swim Adventure will be 90 minutes in total with a swim time of 45-60 minutes.

Distance: The location and distance of swim will vary depending on the weather conditions for that day. Our driver will take guests to meet the Guernsey Swim Adventures team at the desired location.

What to wear: Guernsey Swim Adventures don’t have wetsuits for hire, guests would be required to provide their own or swim like Guernsey locals in their bathers (without a wetsuit).

Post-swim: We will have robes and towels as well as hot drinks and pastries for after your swim.

Guests will always be with a minimum of two swim guides, who will be in kayaks.

Price

£95 per person based on a minimum of 2 people.

Please note this experience is for a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 guests, due to safety reasons.

If you would like to make the experience more bespoke, such as including breakfast or lunch, this will be at an additional cost and is unable to be organised by Guernsey Swim Adventures. 

Please note that it will be necessary for each guest to complete a questionnaire prior to the swim, outlining their swimming experience and ability as well as a Guernsey Swim Adventure Participation Agreement (suggested swimming distances ability is between 500m – 2km +).
