People, a new play from the award-winning writer Alan Bennett, will be screened live at the Princess Royal Centre for the Performing Arts on March 31st 2013.

Part of the venues NT Live season, the event allows luxury Guernsey hotel guests to enjoy a broadcast of the National Theatre's production of the play, which is directed by Nicholas Hytner and stars Frances de la Tour.

The well-loved actress stars as Dorothy, an elderly lady with a cluttered life who decides to host an attic sale, despite her reservations about allowing people into her home.

Bennett and Hytner previously collaborated on acclaimed stage shows and films such as The History Boys, The Madness of King George and The Habit of Art, meaning their new production is likely to be eagerly anticipated.

Those planning a stay at The Duke of Richmond Hotel this March can book a Get More From Your Stay package and take advantage of a selection of luxurious extras, such as a bottle of Champagne on arrival, a traditional afternoon tea or a three-course dinner for two.
