The ever-popular Guernsey Symphonic Winds ensemble will be performing their annual spring concert on March 9th 2013, with a diverse programme of music planned for the show.

Teaming up with special guests Guernsey Bel Canto, an acclaimed group of choral singers, the musicians will be treating audiences to renditions of classical pieces, swing numbers and excerpts from famous soundtracks.

Among the selections are Phillip Spark's A Timeside Overture, Percy Granger's The Immovable Do and Jean Sibelius' Finlandia, as well as the theme from Thunderbirds and a suite from the musical Les Miserables.

Standard tickets cost £10, with £8 passes for senior citizens, students and restricted view seats, while schoolchildren can get in free.

There are a number of appealing packages available at The Duke of Richmond Hotel for those wishing to attend the show, including the Food Lovers offer for gourmands.

It provides luxury Guernsey hotel guests with full English breakfasts, a Champagne afternoon tea and a three-course seasonal Guernsey-themed dinner, among other extras.
